Three new attorneys are joining the Richmond workplace of Sands Anderson Pc, bringing their practices in bankruptcy and creditors rights, firm President M. Pierce Rucker announced these days.

He earned his law degree at the University of Richmond, where he was a member of the Law Evaluation and received the American Jurisprudence Book Award for Bankruptcy. His undergraduate degree is from the College of William and Mary.

Smith focuses on bankruptcy, creditors rights, federal receiverships, and enterprise and tax law, such as representing creditors, debtors-in-possession and bankruptcy trustees in litigating all manner of bankruptcy issues. In addition, Smith is a Certified Public Accountant. He earned his law degree magna cum laude from Boston College where he served as an Articles Editor on the Boston College Environmental Affairs Law Journal. He earned his undergraduate degree in Accounting summa cum laude from the State University of New York at Fredonia.

Gunn represents closely-held corporations, their owners and executives, as well as individuals with complicated financial situations, such as bankruptcy.
